This map started rolling out at the beginning of October 2020 this year by Lannisters1798 on Resetera (an online forum for gamers).

In Cyberpunk 2077, players are going to explore the night city along with some more other cities surrounding it. The Night city and the cities surrounding it are divided into 7 districts named as:
  • Santo Domingo
  • City Center
  • Watson
  • Westbrook
  • Heywood
  • Pacifica
  • The Badlands
The 6 cities are contained inside the Night city while the 7th city, The Badlands (also called wastelands) is a depleted area around the Night city. Each city comes with unique looks of buildings, vehicles, characters, and businesses.

The Night city has multiple street levels and literally very height skyscrapers for you to do a freefall and let your character die (Just kidding 😜). You'll not get lost though as every street in Night city comes with its own unique name, also players will start getting a mental map of the Night city on their minds as soon as you start playing it.

Now let's read more about all 7 districts in the Night city.

Santo Domingo

The Santo Domingo is the industrial district, divided into 2 sub-districts. This district consists of most of the factories and industries of the Night city.

Some of them have been abandoned by their owners and now are base on some criminal activity.
There is a sub-district in this area named Rancho Coronado where some factory workers and users build their residentials.

City Center

City center, being the most fortified city with the highest Skyscrapers, fortress-like skyline, and sky-reaching structure. This city is the central business hub (CBD) of the night city. Most of the corporations of Night city operate from Citycenter.

According to Cyberpunk Fandom, This was once a battlefield of the 4th Corporate war and the Nuclear fallout from the Alaska Tower assault in 2030 and was completely recovered in 2070 and by 2077 it has become the most fortified district of the Night city.

The City center consists of two sub-districts named: Corpo Plaza and Downtown. The Corpo Plaza consists of the biggest Skyscrapers and the home to big companies of the Night city.

Meanwhile, the Downtown is basically an entertainment zone, it's full of clubs, restaurants, hotels, celebrities, galleries, concert halls, movie halls, and shadow corners where the drug dealers live and supply their drugs.

Watson

Watson will be the place where the Players are going to start their game. It's the poorest and weak district in the Night city. In 2077 this city has almost abandoned all the factories and houses are almost abandoned and no one lives here. Watson is also a Battleground between Maelstrom and Tyger Claws.

Westbrook

Westbrook Cyberpunk 2077, Credit: Reddit.com

Westbrook is considered by many to be the best place to live and have fun in Night City. If you've got eddies, you come here to spend them. And if you don't? Well, take out a loan and pretend you're on top of the world                                            -- Cyberpunk 2077

Westbrook is one of the best and beautiful place, it consists of a big garden and it has some of the most luxurious places for players to visit. Westbrook is home to wealthy peoples, celebrities, and corporates.

It's divided into 3 sub-districts being: Japantown, North Oak, and Charter Hill. Japantown is one of the most important sub-district of Westbrook, many of the Yazuka families live here and operate in the free state of North California

On the other hand, In 2077, North Oak is home to some untouchable wealthy elites, bankers, politicians, executives, corporates and the list goes so on. Private security forces can be seen all over the North Oak. It consists of luxurious cars, apartments, villas, and Tennis courts.

Meanwhile, Charter hill is basically a place for mass housing and home to large corporates that can afford to live here. But living here without personal security, bodyguards, as well as armored vehicles, is not even possible due to the constant attacks that happened here.

Heywood

Heywood Cyberpunk 2077, Credit: Cyberpunk-guide.net

Heywood is a neighborhood of contrast—from modern skyscrapers and parks in the north, to dangerous, inhospitable slums in the south. It's "the biggest bedroom in Night City", where gangs like Valentinos and 6th Street get down to business—legal and illegal alike.                                                       --Cyberpunk 2077

Here. You'll find lush Parks and Large skyscrapers. It's known as the biggest bedroom in the Night city with both businesses legal and illegal. As you go to the Northside you'll find dangerous slums taking over the urban areas.

The wealthy part of Heywood is almost occupied by the corporates of the Night city. The Heywood consists of 3 sub-districts named: The Glen, Wellsprings, and Vista Del Rey. The Glen consists of 8 Landmarks. Also, the Glen is the base of the Govt. building like Town Hall, Court, NCPD Office, and mayor's office.

On the other hand, Wellsprings is the safest part of Heywood. Meanwhile, Vista Del Rey is the poorest area of Heywood due to under-investments. Residentials of this place started moving out to other places, slowly making Vista Del Rey an abandoned place.

Pacifica

Pacifica Cyberpunk 2077, Credit: GamesRadar+

Pacifica could've been Night City's money-making vacation resort, but once the investment dried up it became a husk left to rot. Now, instead of tourists, the district is overrun by gangs and violence, with The Voodoo Boys protecting the community forsaken by NCPD.                                                 --Cyberpnuk 2077

The Pacifica District, formally known as the Pacifica Playground, was an upper-class corporate-sponsored residential suburb directly south of Night City. By 2077.

The Badlands

The Badlands Cyberpunk 2077,

Sparsely populated by Nomads, the Badlands are the vast plains outside of the city proper. Unchecked resource extraction, burning oil fields, rampant pollution; this district makes Night City feel like a rich oasis. But it holds golden opportunities for those in the know.

The Badlands is a depleted area surrounding the Night city, the Badlands is populated with Nomads also a gang filled mostly with exiles who live with their families here. However, going to this place without safety equipment and armed vehicles can be deadly making it worth it for you to visit the Badlands.
