To Embed a YouTube Video, it is required that you open YouTube on a Desktop, or if you want to do it with your Mobile,

    • Then paste the playlist ID after the "=".
    • Paste the code into your blog or website HTML.

Playlist Embed Code Example
  • <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?list=PLx0sYbCqOb8TBPRdmBHs5Iftvv9TPboYG" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Make an Embedded YouTube Video to Play Automatically

To make an Embedded YouTube video to play automatically, you must add &autoplay=1 to the Embed Code just after the Video ID.

However, it is not recommended that you add Autoplay to your Embedded Youtube video, as an Embedded YouTube video with autoplay will not increase the number of video views.

Make an Embedded YouTube Video start at a particular Time

To make your Embedded YouTube Video start at a particular time, you must add ?start= to your embed code followed by the time in seconds at which would you like to begin the Video.

Such as if you want to make a YouTube video to start at 1 minute 30 seconds, your embed code would be:

<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UkWd0azv3fQ?start=90" width="420"></iframe>

Adding Captions to Embedded YouTube Video

In Order to add a Caption to an Embedded YouTube Video, you must add &cc_load_policy=1
to the Video's Embed Code.

You can also choose a caption language for the embedded video. To specify the caption language, just add &cc_lang_pref=fr&cc_load_policy=1
to the video's embed code.
  • "cc_lang_pref" sets the language for the captions shown in the video.
  • "cc_load_policy=1" turns captions on by default.
  • "fr" represents the language code for French. You can look up 2-letter language codes in the ISO 639-1 standard.
