Samsung Exynos W920 Comes with Arm® Cortex®-A55 and an Arm Mali™-G68 GPU and a Dedicated Cortex M55 Processor For AOD

Talking about some technical specifications, the Exynos W920 features the first-ever 5nm extreme ultra-violet (EUV) process node offering powerful & efficient performance for powerful upcoming wearables, it has 2 Arm® Cortex®-A55 and an Arm Mali™-G68 GPU that significantly boost the performance by around 20% and 10% better Graphics which can support more interactive 3D GUI on QHD (960×540) displays. Even though it has industry-leading features in the wearable market, it is still the smallest which also allows the wearables to house larger batteries without compromising the performance.

One more incredible piece of info that we have is to support the AOD (Always on Display) for wearables which are a widely adopted feature as it makes it effortless to see Notifications, Calls, SMS and more without waking up the whole watch. The Exynos W920m rather than using the whole CPU for AOD uses an in-built dedicated low-power display processor, the Cortex-M55 to perform this task, significantly decreasing the power consumption in AOD as compared to its predecessors.

As a product of Samsung’s collaboration with Google, the Exynos W920 is going to power the first-ever smartwatch with Exynos W920, the upcoming Galaxy Watch model.
